“Our ASEAN, Our Say! Strengthening Regional Solidarity and Youth Rights in Building a Sustainable Future”

The ASEAN Youth Forum 2017 was hosted in Quezon City, Philippines as the Philippine President, Rodrigo Duterte, chaired the 30th and 31st ASEAN Summit.

Young people from all across Southeast Asia gathered on the forum to understand the persisting and emerging issues affecting the countries and the young people of Southeast Asia. The sessions conducted were aimed to inspire and instigate youth-driven solutions that are consistent with the values of freedom, human rights, and social justice at the local, national, and regional level. The forum also initiate young people to revisit and to update the plans in moving forward a common youth agenda essential for nation building and development.
